Hakai has a very powerful and overwhelming personality. He has a strong presence when people meet him. He always speaks his mind and has no fear of fighting. Hakai has lost his humanity long ago, from the countless battles and kills. Hakai also has a less serious side, only shown to very few people. He often makes jokes or will mess around with people, though not often. He is willing to die to protect his chosen student and make them strong at all cost. But most of all Hakai in battle truly is a Demon showing no mercy to his enemies.

Hakai is a cold blooded ninja, who kills without fear. He is a merciless killer who uses common cold logic in all things. No matter who is hurt, he will do whatever it takes to protect the his goals. With that logic he will gladly kill and slaughter anyone. He is the perfect killer and destroyer for his goals and the Akatsuki. But he is also a ladies’ man and loves women. Something he learns from his bachelor father. He will pull any line to get a girl to come home. He is a straight up pimp.
